A rapid UI/UX transformation for a prompt-based design engine, focusing on elevating the product from a functional MVP to a premium, high-converting creative studio.
About Natively: Natively is a prompt-based design engine that allows creators to build native apps through natural language. It simplifies complex app development into an intuitive, canvas-like experience, empowering users to move from idea to product in minutes.
Note: This was a focused UI/UX redesign sprint aimed at establishing a premium visual identity.
Natively's MVP proved the technical capability of prompting, but the interface felt utilitarian—like a developer tool rather than a creative studio. Users churned because they couldn't "feel" the potential.
We pivoted the visual language from "Form-filling" to "Canvas-painting". By introducing deep gradients, glassmorphism, and immediate visual feedback, we shifted the user's mental model from inputting data to creating art.
The original interface was functional but generic. The redesign establishes authority instantly with a clear user view and immersive aesthetic.
Users reported improved readability and hierarchy compared to the MVP.
Faster task completion with simplified, linear flows.
Increase in prompt successful completions.
App Store rating up from 3.2 after the design update.
